About
At Mae’s Secondary School, emphasis is placed on a personalized approach to education. This involves understanding how to achieve the best results from students by creating effective teaching strategies.
There is also a focus on establishing an effective balance between academics and extracurricular activities, which is evidenced by several club offerings, as well as activities such as our annual Spelling Bee, Inter House Debate and Science Fair.
Admissions
Enrollment
Prior to enrollment, prospective students are subject to a written assessment. For entrance at the Form 1 level, there is a minimum National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) score to be achieved, dependent upon the overall national score average.
For enrollment, the following is required:
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Certificate
- Two (2) passport-sized photographs

Girls: White shirt, tie, and blue/green plaid pleated skirt
Boys: White shirt, tie, and black pants
Pupils are required to wear black footwear with white socks.
Games wear: Mae’s polo shirt (available for purchase at the school), and dark track pants
